The history of Dickson began in the 1980s. After overcoming numerous challenges in its early days, Dickson moved from Hong Kong to Houjie Town, Dongguan City, China in 1984 in order to keep abreast with the development in the market. This opened a new chapter for the company. Standing firmly on integrity and trust, the efforts of hundreds of Dickson employees in each manufacturing process and design innovation have fulfilled our commitment to the customers in the past 20 years.

On 60, 000m2 factory, office building and dormitory facilities housing over 700 employees, Dickson Furniture was built with an investment of US$ 13 million. Advanced equipment has been introduced from Germany and Italy to assist the production of modern furniture. At present, Dickson′s monthly production capacity is as much as US$ 3 million.

In March 2002, Dickson was ranked the runner-up in the International Furniture Fair Singapore 2002 and the 19th ASEAN Furniture Show (IFFS/AFS 2002).

In March 2002, Dickson won the gold medal for bedroom furniture during the 7th International Famous Furniture Fair (Dongguan).

In August 2002, Dickson won the gold medal and innovation award for living room furniture during the 8th International Famous Furniture Fair (Dongguan).
